Pilea peperomioides, also known as the Chinese money plant, is a popular houseplant due to its round, shiny leaves carried on long, delicate stems. Its striking appearance, relatively fast growth, and easy care make it an excellent choice for adding a touch of modern greenery to the home. It also readily produces small offsets around the main plant, perfect for propagation.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care tips:

Likes bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to medium light conditions. Good light promotes more compact growth and balanced foliage. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which could burn the leaves. Rotating the pot regularly helps the plant maintain a uniform shape.

Water thoroughly, then allow the first few inches of the substrate to dry out between waterings. Avoid keeping the soil constantly moist, as Pilea peperomioides is sensitive to overwatering.

Choose a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. Our Chunky Mix Potting Soilis very suitable to provide it with good structure, while our Coco-Perlite Potting Soilis a simple, light, and draining option.
