Alocasia Frydek is a tropical plant prized for its velvety deep green foliage and highly contrasting light veins. Elegant and striking, it thrives indoors with good indirect light, high ambient humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care tips:

Loves bright to medium indirect light, or partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the foliage.

Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Frydek thrives in high humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, ensuring the roots do not sit directly in the water.

Prefer a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing the roots from remaining in an overly compact potting mix.
