Alocasia Dragon Gold is a tropical plant prized for its textured foliage with golden hues and very decorative appearance. It thrives indoors with good indirect light, high humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Likes bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the foliage.

Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Dragon Gold appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-Perlite Potting Mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing roots from sitting in overly compacted soil.
