The Aeschynanthus ‘Black Pagoda’ is a spectacular tropical plant that stands out for its thick, graphic foliage, marked by highly contrasting dark veins. The underside of the leaves can reveal magnificent purple hues, adding even more character to the plant. Its naturally trailing habit makes it an excellent choice for a hanging basket, where its long stems can fully develop.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Prefers bright, indirect light and may benefit from a little gentle sun. Excellent lighting promotes dense growth, highlights foliage patterns, and encourages blooming. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water thoroughly, then let the top few centimeters of the substrate dry out between waterings. The Aeschynanthus ‘Black Pagoda’ prefers to be slightly under-watered rather than have constantly soggy soil.

Favor a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. Our coco-perlite potting soilis an excellent option to ensure good drainage and allow the roots to breathe well.
