Loves bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light promotes vigorous growth and helps maintain well-contrasted variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, which could burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Puberula Aurea appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing roots from sitting in overly compact soil.
