Enjoys bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light helps maintain golden variegation and promotes vigorous growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which can damage or scorch the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry out almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Amazonica Aurea appreciates high humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, ensuring the roots do not sit directly in the water.

Opt for a light, aerated, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing roots from remaining in an overly compact soil.
