The Alocasia Scalprum is a rare tropical plant, appreciated for its narrow, textured, and deep green foliage with an almost sculpted finish. Elegant and original, it thrives indoors with bright indirect light, good ambient humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Loves bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light helps support its growth and keeps its foliage well-defined. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then let the substrate dry out almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Scalprum appreciates high humidity; ideally, place a saucer with clay pebbles and a little water under its pot, making sure the roots don't sit directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco coir and perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled moisture, while preventing the roots from sitting in a overly compact potting mix.
