Light: Likes bright light or partial shade. Without direct sunlight.

Watering: Abundant watering, but the substrate must be allowed to dry completely between each watering. She likes ambient humidity. The ideal is to put a cup of clay balls under your pot.

Loves bright to medium indirect light, or partial shade. Good light helps support its growth and keep its foliage vigorous. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water generously, then allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Regal Shield appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer with clay balls and a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Choose a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing the roots from remaining in an overly compact potting mix.
