Light: Likes bright or semi-shaded light. No direct sunlight.

Watering: Water abundantly, but let the substrate dry out completely between each watering. It likes ambient humidity. Ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles under its pot.

Water thoroughly, then let the substrate dry out almost completely between waterings. Alocasia clypeolata 'Green Shield' appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.
