Alocasia Perakensis Silver is a rare tropical plant, prized for its silvery, textured, and very graphic foliage. Elegant and luminous, it thrives indoors with bright indirect light, good ambient humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care tips:

Prefers bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light helps maintain its silvery foliage and promotes vigorous growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. The Alocasia Perakensis Silver appreciates high ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer with clay pebbles and a little water under its pot, ensuring the roots do not sit directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing the roots from staying in soil that is too compact.
