Alocasia odora 'California' is an elegant tropical plant, prized for its large, glossy green foliage and exotic appearance. Easy to integrate into a bright indoor space, it thrives in good indirect light, high humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Enjoys bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light helps support its growth and keep its foliage more vigorous. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Alocasia odora 'California' enjoys high humidity; ideally, place a saucer with clay pebbles and a little water under its pot, without the roots directly touching the water.

Choose a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled moisture, while preventing roots from sitting in overly compacted soil.
