Alocasia macrorrhiza Camouflage is a spectacular tropical plant, appreciated for its large variegated foliage with a unique camouflage effect. Imposing and decorative, it thrives indoors with good indirect light, ample humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Prefers bright to medium indirect light, or partial shade. Good light helps maintain more defined foliage and more vigorous growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Alocasia macrorrhiza Camouflage appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Favor a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco coir and perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing the roots from remaining in an overly compact soil.
