Lithops, also known as living stones, are fascinating succulent plants native to Southern Africa. Their unique appearance mimics small pebbles, a natural adaptation that allows them to camouflage themselves in their habitat. Very easy to care for, they require little water and are perfect for lovers of unusual plants or beginners wishing to discover the world of succulents.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care tips:

Lithops love very bright light and can tolerate several hours of direct sun, especially in the morning or late afternoon. A south or west-facing window is ideal.

Lithops require very little water. Water only when the substrate is completely dry and let it dry out completely before the next watering. During the leaf renewal period (generally in winter and early spring), it is best to suspend watering until the old leaves are completely dried out.

Opt for a very well-draining substrate. Our coco-perlite potting mixmakes an excellent light and well-draining base, but for optimal drainage, it can be enriched with pumice or horticultural sand.
