The Crassula ovata ‘Variegata’, also known as the variegated jade plant, is an elegant, low-maintenance succulent prized for its thick, fleshy leaves in magnificent shades of green, cream, and pale yellow. In bright light, the edges of the leaves may also develop delicate pink to reddish hues. Its shrubby growth and stems that become woody over time gradually give it the appearance of a small miniature tree.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care tips:

Prefers very bright light and can benefit from several hours of gentle direct sun once it has been gradually acclimated. Excellent brightness promotes compact growth, maintains beautiful variegation, and can accentuate the pink hues of the foliage.

Water thoroughly, then let the substrate dry out completelybefore watering again. Its fleshy leaves store water, which allows it to tolerate drier periods very well. Absolutely avoid over-frequent watering.

Favor a substrate that is light, airy, and very well-draining, suitable for cacti and succulents. Excellent drainage is essential to limit the risk of root rot.
