The Philodendron Micans is a tropical plant admired for its magnificent velvety heart-shaped foliage, with shades of deep green, bronze, and sometimes purple depending on the light. Its naturally climbing or trailing habit makes it an elegant plant, easy to display on a trellis, shelf, or in a hanging basket.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Likes bright to medium indirect light. Good light promotes vigorous growth and highlights the velvety reflections of the foliage. Avoid direct sun, which could scorch the leaves.

Water generously, then allow the top few inches of the substrate to dry out between waterings. The Philodendron Micans prefers slightly moist soil, without being waterlogged.

Choose a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For this type of tropical plant, our chunky mix potting soilis ideal for a richer and more structured blend, while our coco-perlite potting soilis very suitable for a simple, well-draining, and easy-to-use substrate.
