The Senecio Rowleyanus, also known as string of pearls, is a cascading succulent plant highly prized for its long stems covered with small, round, pearl-like leaves. Its spectacular habit makes it a perfect plant for hanging baskets or high shelves. Easy to care for when it receives plenty of light and little water, it can form magnificent cascades of greenery over time.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Loves very bright light and can benefit from a few hours of gentle direct sun, especially in the morning or late afternoon. Excellent light promotes dense growth and limits the spacing between "pearls."

Water moderately, then let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Its fleshy leaves store water, which allows it to tolerate drought well. It is particularly sensitive to overwatering and root rot.

Choose a very light, airy, and well-draining substrate. Our coco-perlite potting mixis an excellent base for ensuring quick drainage and limiting excess moisture.
