The Alocasia Cucullata Aurea is a rare tropical plant, prized for its variegated green and golden yellow foliage. Bright and decorative, it thrives indoors with good indirect light, high ambient humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Loves bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light helps maintain beautiful variegation and support vigorous growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then let the substrate dry out almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Cucullata Aurea appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend ourCoco-Perlite Potting Mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled humidity, while preventing roots from remaining in overly compact soil.
