Alocasia Cucullata is an elegant tropical plant, appreciated for its shiny, heart-shaped green foliage and lush appearance. Easy to integrate into a bright interior, it thrives in good indirect light, high ambient humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Likes bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light helps support its growth and maintain vigorous foliage. Avoid direct sunlight, which could damage or burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Cucullata appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer with clay pebbles and a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend ourCoco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance between drainage, lightness, and controlled moisture, while preventing the roots from remaining in an overly compact soil.
