Sales, Delivery, and Return Policies

1. Acceptance of Terms

At Zarits, we aim to offer a clear, transparent, and respectful experience. By making an online or in-store purchase, the customer acknowledges having read these policies and accepts them, subject to the rights provided by applicable laws.

2. Final Sales

The majority of sales at Zarits are final, whether online or in-store.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• plants;
• natural products;
• pre-sale items;
• sale or promotional items;
• products custom-made or reserved specifically for you.

Plants and natural products are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Some accessories may be an exception, provided you contact us promptly and the item is unused, in good condition, and in its original packaging, if applicable.

3. Online Orders

Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled.

It is not possible to modify already purchased items, quantities, or the delivery method. However, if the order has not yet been prepared or shipped, we can sometimes add items or correct certain information, such as the delivery address or recipient's name.

For any request, please write to us promptly at info@zarits.com, including your order number.

4. In-Store Pickup

Pickup orders must be collected within 14 days of payment.

After this period, Zarits reserves the right to cancel the order without refund.

It is the customer's responsibility to inspect their items before leaving the store. Once the items have left the store, Zarits cannot be held responsible for damages related to transport, handling, or home conditions.

5. Delivery and Shipping

We ship plants only within Canada. Natural products and accessories can be shipped according to the options available at checkout.

Depending on the season, destination, and type of order, we use Canada Post, Purolator, or GLS.

Plants are generally shipped from Monday to Wednesday to reduce the risk of them being held by the carrier over the weekend.

Natural products and accessories can be prepared and shipped from Monday to Friday.

In cases of cold, hot, or unstable temperatures, Zarits may delay the shipment of plants to provide them with better transport conditions.

Once the package is handed over to the carrier, some delays may be beyond our control. Zarits is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, but we encourage you to contact us if you notice a tracking issue or a concerning delay.

6. Shipping Costs

Delivery is free in Quebec and Ontario for eligible orders of $155 or more, unless otherwise specified.

For orders below this amount, or for other provinces, shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless a promotion or special offer is currently active.

Delivery fees are calculated based on several factors, such as weight, package volume, type of products ordered, and delivery address. For plants, fees may also vary depending on the province and necessary protections according to the season.

Available options are automatically displayed at checkout.

7. Non-Living Products Damaged Upon Receipt

If a non-living product arrives broken or damaged, a free replacement may be sent if the conditions are met.

The request must be made within 24 hours of receiving the order.

Please include:

• your order number;
• a clear photo of the damaged product;
• a photo of the package upon receipt.

Without compliant photo proof, we unfortunately will not be able to process the request.

8. Specific Policy for Live Plants

Plants are living beings, sensitive to changes in environment, temperature, light, watering, and transport.

Once a plant leaves the store or is delivered, we can no longer control the conditions in which it is located. For this reason, plant sales are final.

On our part, we take the utmost care in selecting, preparing, and packaging each plant so that it leaves Zarits healthy and in the best possible condition.

9. Live Arrival Policy

The live arrival policy is a conditional coverage that applies only if the plant arrives dead or irrecoverable upon opening the package.

It does not cover minor transport-related damages, such as a damaged leaf, a bent stem, some displaced substrate, or normal stress due to shipping.

For a claim to be eligible, all the following conditions must be met:

• Someone must be present during delivery.
• The package must not remain outdoors for more than 10 minutes.
• The package must be opened within one hour of receipt if a heat pack is used.
• The package must be opened within 6 hours of receipt if there is no heat pack.
• A complete and continuous unboxing video, without cuts, is mandatory.
• The problem must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

All requests must be sent to info@zarits.com with:

• your order number;
• clear photos of the plant;
• a photo of the package;
• a complete and continuous unboxing video.

Without compliant photos or video, we unfortunately will not be able to process the request.

10. Replacement of an Eligible Plant

If a request is eligible, a solution may be offered depending on the situation.

If a replacement is offered, it will be subject to availability. In some cases, a delay of 3 to 6 months may be necessary.

The replacement plant may vary in size, shape, color, variegation, splash, silvering, or general appearance, as each plant is unique.

Shipping, insulation, and heat pack fees for sending a new plant are the responsibility of the buyer.

If no replacement is possible after this period, a store credit corresponding to the value of the plant only may be offered.

No monetary refund is offered, except at Zarits' discretion and subject to applicable laws.

11. Gift Cards

Zarits gift cards are available in-store or on our website and can be offered as a monetary amount or for certain services.

The gift card can be picked up in-store or sent by email. It includes a unique code to be used at checkout and can be used multiple times until the balance is depleted.

For in-store use, it is necessary to present the physical card.

12. Phytosanitary Certificate

For orders shipped within Canada, no phytosanitary certificate is required.

For orders destined outside Canada, a phytosanitary certificate is required. If you need one, contact us at info@zarits.com before your order is shipped.

We can verify what is possible, prepare the document if necessary, and inform you of the applicable fees.

13. Right to Refuse or Cancel a Sale

In certain exceptional situations, Zarits reserves the right to refuse or cancel a sale, in accordance with applicable laws.
