Alocasia Sedenii Aurea is a rare tropical plant, sought after for its elegant foliage with magnificent golden-yellow variegation. Its majestic habit and vigorous growth make it a prime choice for collectors of exceptional plants. It thrives in bright indirect light, high ambient humidity, and a light substrate.

The plant is sold in a plastic pot.

Care instructions:

Loves bright to medium indirect light, or semi-shaded light. Good light promotes vigorous growth and helps maintain well-contrasted variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, which could burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry almost completely between waterings. Alocasia Sedenii Aurea appreciates good ambient humidity; ideally, place a saucer of clay pebbles with a little water under its pot, without the roots soaking directly in the water.

Opt for a light, airy, and well-draining substrate. For Alocasias, we recommend our Coco-perlite potting mix, which helps maintain a good balance of drainage, lightness, and controlled moisture, while preventing roots from sitting in overly compacted soil.
